Van with the next L on the list
Toffoli could have been in a Canucks Jersey rn along with Tanev
While Van has 26mill in cap space Hughes and Petterson are gonna eat a large portion along with Dickenson. Then they got to replace Holtby. So that space is gonna be gone quickly. Also you got to replace Schmidt and sure they are bringing back Schenn but okay you need a defensively minded top 4 Dman. Dont think were gonna see an improvement in Vancouver's GA.
Demko good luck man

If they trade one prior to the draft, they will just lose someone else they don’t want to lose. They’ve pretty much come to terms that they are losing a valuable player for nothing. It’d be different if the pens only had 1 good player they couldn’t protect and were ok losing someone else so they trade him for something like most other teams are doing. Or are trading a NMC to protect someone else. But this isn’t the case.</div></div>
no one near to the value of McCann. You are worries about losing 36 y/o jeff carter instead? or Aston-Reese? Blueger or Lafferty??? no one has any value near to Mccanns.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Penguins_Legend_Sheary</b></div><div>What’d you guys think of this team?</div></div>
I'll tell you what I think: This ACGM is an absolute clown show. Marner is not going to be moved at all, regardless of the situation. Plus, that is not nearly enough for Marner. Thats way too much for RNH, who is a guy we don't need. Signing Cizikas and Savard to contracts that big and that long is an mistake and a half. Chara has no want to be here, and Hall is going to stay in Boston. Tavares is not going to be on LTIR and Hutch isnt a worthy backup. This is genuinely such a stupid ACGM that I would honestly recommend you never login to the site again.

LOL AT EVERYONE WHO SAID PENS WOULDNT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS
Im actually happy people started to doubt us. There was definitely questions on if this team should rebuild, but they for sure still have it in them. Since we didnt have our first, all I wanted to do was make the playoffs. With how this team has played with injuries all year, I am so excited to see what they can do when healthy in the playoffs. I dont want to get my hopes up too much, but this team could make a run for real.
I would personally keep the top 6 how it was before Geno went down and make a few changes in the bottom 6

Playoffs With No Trade
I don't see Rodrigues as the RW.
I think if they make a move that's where it should be at this point.
Zucker will play with Malkin. I know people imagine he's going to a 3rd line but he's not.
They will keep Blueger with ZAR and Tanev.
What you are looking at is a 4th line of McCann/Gaudreau/?????????
They might get 8-10 minutes a night.
I think they should put a larger body and a checker there.
That isn't EROD.
They need that line to be an energy line. Bring some life into the game. A fast physical guy can do that. Doesn't have to be a huge goal scorer, but someone capable of getting the puck and letting McCann and Gaudreau figure out what to do with it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mhockey91</b></div><div>I agree, but burke is gonna Burke
Brace for impact</div></div>
I really don't think Burke is gonna have a say.
This is Hextall's show. In the power struggle over what the roster is he will win. Every single move so far points to that. Friedman, the hiring of scouts all connected to Hextall.
Hextall isn't a guy looking for goon over talent. Especially when the team is winning. If anything he wants to build a team out the draft. He's good at that.
They use to have 2 roster spots on this team. I think most people are comfortable saying there is now 1 thanks to Gaudreau.
Right now they have what they are looking for in that last spot in Angelo.
I think this year there are so many issues with making deals at the TDL.
1st is Seattle, which I really think is holding the penguins back. Their first priority is probably working out what it takes to make that happen. There is no doubt they are working on that.
2nd is the lack of games to adjust. There are 19 games left. If they are coming from Canada they already lose a few of those games. You wait to TDL that's 5 games, you are down to 14. How long is a quarantine, if it's 1 week, you lose 3 more games. You are at 11.
The risk is just way to high that the guy will never adjust to a new team. Chemistry matters. 11 games just isn't very long.
If teams were going to really make these deals, it's best to do it now, not wait.
3rd is the price. Who wants to cough up a ton for a guy who might play a whopping 15 games for them. I think teams are having to really question that kind of move. As most of these TDL deals will not pan out. Only 1 team wins. So that's a lot to throw away for little.

St. Louis Blues signed Jordan Binnington (6 Years / $6,000,000 AAV)
I am laughing my head off now.
This guy’s temper has been a detriment to the team, and has regressed ever since winning a cup, now they’re giving him a long-term contract until he’s 34.
This is the same situation with Murray, except Binnington is older. (At least Ottawa gave Murray 2 fewer years though) Terrible signing by the Blues.
Keeping him in the net in the playoffs over Allen, then trading Allen for nearly nothing, and now he’s signed for over $3 million more per year than Allen on their extensions while Jake is playing better, is a series of bad decisions by the Blues.
