Dallas obviously isn’t trading Johnston. Maybe if you offered Slafkovsky

New Habs
I don’t see why the Avs would trade a top 4 dman and top 6 winger that both have term at pretty solid cap hits for an overpaid bottom 6C and futures. Doesn’t make sense for a cup contending team

but if you find a young forward prospect i bet you can get dvo that way
kent isnt dumping anyone for nothing.</div></div>
You’re ignoring the part where Montreal is acquiring the better player who makes less than half of what Dvorak makes

Suter is better than Dvorak at less than half the cap hit. No reason for the Canucks to do this

I do think u guys can find someone to take him though</div></div>
We don’t want anyone to take him. He’s still an elite 1C despite his recent offensive struggles. There’s just a very loud minority of fans that don’t like Pettersson for whatever reason, even though he was our best player last year and was still great this year. He’s struggling right now but playing through an injury and still playing great defensively

The Canucks aren’t moving Pettersson, especially for that little. Fans need to stop overreacting to a small stretch of bad offensive play while he’s playing through an injury

Trade for Draisatl
Canucks pass. Even with the retention it doesn’t make sense to take on a 6x6M 3C who’s 31 and struggled to end the season while giving up Garland who was one of our best forwards this season

That Nashville package isn’t worth a 1st. That’s like the Canucks asking for a 1st for Pius Suter and Juulsen

Don’t see why the Canucks do either deal
Raty > Fabbro, 2nd > Parssinen, 5th > nothing
Mikheyev with retention probably gets some value in return

Top 10 Each Position
Even though he’s struggling right now I’d still put Pettersson > Aho, Point, J Hughes and arguably Barkov and Crosby
I’d have Guentzel right around 5 for LWs and move everyone below that down 1 spot

Soft players Ive seen people offer for Brady
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>Brady
Brady and Miller had the same amount of goals . And Brady led the league in primary points . I’m sorry he didn’t pile up the secondary assists because the Sens weren’t an offensive firepower like the Canucks . Brady is easily 40+ goals 90+ pts on another team.
Not that points always tell the whole story</div></div>
You’re right points don’t tell the full story. But Miller did also have 16 more primary points. And the Canucks only scored 24 more goals than Ottawa, it’s not like they were terrible offensively
Plus Miller is also better defensively and a much better leader than crybaby Brady

Canucks weren’t ever desperate to trade him lmao. Teams were calling on him but we didn’t want to trade him
You’d be ecstatic if Brady became the player Miller is now btw

Soft players Ive seen people offer for Brady
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AC14</b></div><div>Well, Vancouver seems to be doing pretty good without one, Carolina does as well,
Toronto although not a lot of playoff success, that’s not a forward issue and it’s certainly not an issue Brady Tkachuk would solve, Matthew maybe, but their issue is mainly on the backend.
New Jersey was great last year and not so much this year, not sure what to credit that to. Maybe they could use him?
St Louis doesn’t really need him, Neighbors has kind of filled that role as a net front, physical player
Buffalo is a jumbled mess but they have a couple of guys that fit that bill.
Almost every team would love to have him sure. But you could say that about 5 or 6 guys on most teams.
The question is how much more of being terrible is a guy like that who comes from a family that is notorious about looking out for themselves most in terms of franchise they play for and how much money they are paid.going to put up with?
Ottawa shouldn’t trade Tkachuk unless they have to. He has all of the tools to be an absolute menace. He just hasn’t refined the details to his game the way Matthew has. Good news for him is he has a really good support system. Bad news for Ottawa is that support system knows how to get themselves in the best situation possible for themselves.</div></div>
I’d classify JT Miller as a high end power forward for the Canucks (better player but not as physical as Brady)

affording Jake
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DarthRightus</b></div><div>We're paying Hronek to dump Mikheyev and getting something out of it. We'd be lucky to get this.</div></div>
Using a 1st pair RHD to dump a slightly overpaid middle 6 winger who’s struggled his first season back from knee surgery (but has still been good defensively) is Benning level management
If we need to pay a lot to dump Mikheyev we’re better off keeping him. It was also reported at the deadline that he doesn’t have negative value so we may be able to get something for him
Even if you think he’s a dump, he’d cost at most a 2nd to dump, possibly less. Leaving Hronek for a late 1st and meh prospect which is terrible for the Canucks

Never said that. But the package Sens fans ask for would be something that could get a better player than Brady
