Lets see that soft D play a playoff game. Charlie Macavoy their only guy who can curl more than 10 lbs. Good luck

Speaking of starting goalies for playoffs, what will your bruins do lol. Its been a mess since Tukka didnt play in the bubble. You saw that Halak is no longer 09 Halak, so Swayman or Vladar? ahahaha

I made an argument and you acknowledged dougies offensive capabilities. I said that hes good defensively, you disagreed out of bias.

Pelech can be great defensively, but to be elite, u have to be great on both ends, just like that Tyson barrie is not a top 5 D even though hes great offensively, Pelech can't be top 5 just for his defence.

Do you also think that Zboril, Debrusk, Sesynyshn are better than Barzal, Kyle Connor and Chabot?

He stinks when it comes to helping his team win hockey games. Man, he made it easy to play against the canes the last couple years in the playoffs. As a bruins fan, i was thankful. It was just legit easy. Similar story for Carlson. Points points points. He’s got those. When it comes to being an actual d man, meh. Wouldn’t have either of those guys top ten.</div></div>
You can admit that a player your team traded is good. Just like when you got Tukka for Raycroft, the bruins won, they traded Seguin and Hamilton who are both elite. I'm a Habs fan and can admit that Ryan Mcdonaugh was a great defensman and Max Pacioretty is still great, no need to have biases.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bhavikp27</b></div><div>I will assume this is based on this season
Yes, Draisaitl can play both but he's played more C than LW. Marchand is better than Ovechkin. The latter just waits for passes and shoot.
Marner way too high.
Nurse hasn't even been a top5 LD this year. He isn't good defensively. Carlson has zero defense and Letang is good/great but not top5. Pelech, Pulock, McAvoy, Girard, Toews, Ekblad, Petry have been top10 Ds this year.
Price, we're not in 2015. 10 games after a 4.5-month break don't outweigh 150+ (or even this season, he's been below-average). I like Hellebuyck's rank, there's a case for him (and Vasilevskiy).</div></div>
I think we just found Adam Pelech's burner ahahahah

LD: Hedman, Josi, Theodore, Slavin, and I’m tempted to put provorov there, but most think I’m nuts for doing that.
Goaltending: just have to get price out of there. He’s been so bad. If it’s just for this year, you kinda have to have saros in there. If it’s this year + rep type thing, Tuukka has the best save percentage in NHL history. Kinda though to keep him off that list given that.</div></div>
Dk how u can keep Dougie Hamilton off there, over the last 2 seasons, 92 gp, 77 pts, not to mention that hes great defensively. Pullock is good but hes not even close, doughty is much better. John Carlson is incredible, can't leave him out. Agreed that Ekblad was good and too small of a sample size. Slavin just does not belong there.

Mcdonagh, Cernak, and Sergachev haven't been terrible, but they haven't been good either</div></div>
Again, I didn't say that he isn't good, I have him in second. But Hellybuck beat him out to the Vezina on a team that lost 3 of their top 4 defensman and he continues to be great. Yes, he gets goal support, so does Vasi, but their defensive cores are not to compare.

Gibson? Especially if we're just looking at talent instead of numbers. He's the only reason the Ducks have won any games this year.

Gibson is in the same boat as price. Has had bad teams in front of him for the last few years, in turn, making his stats bad. I agree that he is a top goalie tho

Crosby is so underrated. People got so used to him that they don't appreciate how good he really is. Maybe he doesn't score 110 its anymore, but he puts up 90-100 pt paces and is one of the top defensive centres in the game, great face-off man etc. I'd take him over McDavid going into a cup run today

Who would u put there instead of price? Sure his numbers havent been great, but look at his playoff performance last year. Mcavoy is really good, but its top 5 at each position, I don't think hes better than any of those right D's.

Because Hellybuck is better than him. He beat him out to the Vein last year after losing Byfuglien, Trouba and Myers from his defensive core. Tampa is also the best team in the league, they have the best offence and their defence is very good between hetman, sergachev, mcdonaugh, rutta, cernak and now Savard. Not to say Vasi isn't great, but he is in much more of an ideal situation.

Allen is and always has been a head case.
Pietrangelo is the one who chose to leave.
The fact is Pietrangelo moved his family over a 1000 miles away to a new city because he was scared without having a NMC he would be forced to move his family perhaps a 1000 miles away to a new city....
Makes so much sense..</div></div>
Pietrangelo moved because ST.Louis cheeped out, he wanted to stay. They spent their money on all the wrong guys.
