Honestly I think it's a fair deal. Kreider is exactly what Tampa needs, the Rangers get an extra 1st, and Joseph is a minor version of Michael Grabner (Lots of speed, no hands)

Was an early roster too, so Josi hadn't signed his extension yet. Ended up signing in Det for $11 mil/year, along with Holtby at $7.25.</div></div>
Imagine losing out on a free agent to DETROIT!!

Tonight vs Minnesota
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MaxDomi13</b></div><div>I still don't like the idea of Point over Stamkos
Here are lines I wanna see
Kucherov - Point - Stamkos (doesn't matter who plays C)
Palat - Gourde - Killorn
Joseph - Cirelli - Johnson
Maroon - Verheaghe - Paquette (doesn't matter who plays C)</div></div>
The only problem with these lines is that you're putting all of the firepower on the top line. It works for some teams (Boston, Colorado), but I doubt it works for Tampa.
Also, Cirelli is a top-6 player, I truly believe that

You can honestly replace the goalie with anyone. Ceci only has one year left, and the Wings have a ton of cap space. Giving them a sweetener to take Ceci is the key to making a deal work

I'm not a Leafs fan, but I think the Leafs will overvalue the importance of getting a backup and will overpay

Also you can only sign Pietrangelo for 7 years unless you trade for him. And if he isn't going to a contender he might want more than 9.5 million.</div></div>
You have to remember that this is a video game, so I went and was able to get Salvin in the Hall deal.
My bad on the Pietrangelo years, I'll fix that

The Devils made the playoffs in 2017-18 because Hall carried them there. They were never a good enough team without his superhuman effort.

Firstly, to make it happen in Tampa T. Hall has to re-sign, that's a given. However the rub is, what's the AAV/TERM gonna be ($8/9/10M US(?)/6/7 years(?) - ouch)!!
NJ on the otherhand, gets a good player/good Cap-deal in TJ and this draft is supposedly deep so early picks are GOLD (NJ would own two choice 1st's at the draft)...
Personally, I think Halls over-rated and based on the majority of Armchair deals posted that is a "truism" IMO.</div></div>
Hall isn't re-signing. The Lightning have too many problems cap-wise next season. But he's a piece that can push the Bolts over the top
