Thornton for $2M is painfully bad IMO...and Pietrangelo at $9.5Mx8........damn dude, I think that's an overpay -- and you basically prevent yourself from resigning Rielly in 2 years.

Hank as a tandem goalie with Jack is pretty shakey....I'd only do it if he signs for league min....and even then....I wouldnt do it.

Mikeyhev won't sign for 900,000, and he has Arbitration rights.

Kerfoot for a 4th??? Throw him away in the trash why don't you....not to be rude, but this is a dumpster fire.

He'll get term elsewhere, so if you don't give it to him, you don't get him IMO.

damn you guys take this pretty seriously.

i'm using this tool to play around with some trade ideas in anticipation of free agency.

it's pretty hard as a fan to gauge what a guy's value is on the market. Nylander is my favourite Leaf -- I don't want to see him traded. just looking at some hypothetical options. i don't undervalue Nylander...but from what I hear, other GMs around the league do. so i'm trying to think of a realistic option.

anyway.....i'm pretty blown away by how many people come in hot on this forum and tell me i'm a dumb POS....it's pretty funny.

Fair enough about Andersen. They don't need the 1st anyway really.

NYI have to resign Barzal who is an RFA and they have about $8M in cap space. Maybe he doesn't take all of it, but he'll make a dent.

My angle is the fact that the trade would save the Coyotes almost $10M in cash (not cap, but real dollars) as Andersen will only cost them $1M after his bonus is paid by the Leafs, and Hossa is owed what he's owed. May need a prospect sweetener but I don't think it's too outlandish.
