My angle is the fact that the trade would save the Coyotes almost $10M in cash (not cap, but real dollars) as Andersen will only cost them $1M after his bonus is paid by the Leafs, and Hossa is owed what he's owed. May need a prospect sweetener but I don't think it's too outlandish.

Wtf are you talking about? they say 2.5M in cash (not cap, but real money) that is less than they would save if they just traded Kuemper for futures. Hossa is owed $1M this year and 80% of that money is paid by insurance To summarize for you Arizona owes him a whopping total of 200k. Yes this trade is outlandish because you pulled facts out of your ass for it to make sense. Kuemper alone should return a 1st and a prospect and Arizona currently has 3 goalies under contract so taking another one back is stupid.
