look at next year
Boeser to the Pens is just not going to happen. Pens already need to ship out salary to fit in extensions for Geno, Tanger, and Rust. Fitting in a Boeser contract when he's due a qualifying offer at 7.5 is just a non-starter.
And besides, trading his RFA rights for a 25 year old top 4 RHD under long term control at a managable cap hit is just absurdly imbalanced value. Obviously the Canucks want Marino, but the Pens want to keep him for all the reasons the Canucks want him. He won't be had for less than a king's ransom.

1 FOR 1
It makes no sense for the Pens to move Marino, and it makes even less sense for them to acquire Boeser. Sure, he'd be a great on-ice fit, but they already need to ship out salary this offseason to fit in extensions for Geno, Letang, and Rust. Given that Boeser is due a 7.5 million dollar qualifying offer this offseason, his contract situation is just a non-starter. Won't happen. No way, no how.

Canucks with strong Marino Interest
Why on earth would the Pens trade a young, solid, right handed defenseman under long term control? Adding Rodrigues and a second? SIlly.

Jimbo goofed year 1
Pens say absolutely not. Need to add much more from the Canucks side to make this happen; Pens say no to even a Marino/Boeser swap without sweeteners. Adding Rodrigues and a second rounder is just laughable.

SELLING at TDL
Why does every Canucks fan think they can get Marino for Boeser? No shot the Pens trade Marino, especially not in season. Forward depth is the Pens' strength already; there's simply no logic in trading a 24 year old legitimate top 4 defenseman with first pair potential on a long term deal for a manageable cap hit for a player they don't even need.

go time
No shot the Pens trade a roll of stick tape for Fischer, let alone two picks. Their fifteenth and sixteenth forwards on the depth chart are more useful than this plug lol

That Detroit trade is AWFUL for the pens.

PENS2019
I agree that he's important, but they're going to need to find a way to get a center, unless they want to start a season looking like 2017-18 again when they had McKegg and Rowney as their bottom six centers. If they need to trade for a center, they'll likely trade a defenseman because they have depth there, and I think Schultz fetches the best prize. Maatta would be an option to trade, but I doubt he gets as much as Schultz.

PENS2019
Pens need a third line center in the offseason, given that Brassard will likely get payed more than they can afford. With the emergence of Riikola and Pettersson, there's a back up on the blue line. Love Schultz, but he's expensive, and the pens d-core without him looks serviceable at worst and downright good if Riikolla and Pettersson continue to develop.
