Jenner has been very publicly made unavailable, according to (temporary) GM, player, and ownership. He's not going anywhere.

Jenner isn't available. The cost to get him out of Cbus would have to be an overpay+.

As for Johnson, he can play 9 games and see if he can stick, too.</div></div>
Johnson was a college player, I thought the 9 game thing was for guys from juniors. They can get a 9 game look, but then they either have to go back to juniors, or stay up with the big club- which burns a year off of their entry level contract. Johnson completed his 4 years at university of Minnesota, he actually could have left as a ufa, but he signed here anyways. He's eligible to go to the ahl, which is likely where he will play.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>zvirbuly</b></div><div>thats good, because I was wondering if Bruins want to trade Ullmark within division</div></div>
I think most Bruins fans want 1st/2nd round picks at this point. My personal guess is that the Bruins won't be competitive until his current contract is up. Ullmark does have a 16 team no trade list, and that is probably more of a sticking point than whether or not it happens in-division.

not bad
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>You may feel he's piled up enough value for Parayko, but nothing in that offer is tempting. I loved Jokihatju in Chicago, thought he was going to be really good, but he has not progressed. He may have devolved. Ostlund is a tiny C, which the Blues don't cate for much. The 1st is deferred and with this trade, the pick value likely plummets. The most instantly enticing piece in the package is Philly's 2nd. Exactly none of this hurts to give up. So I do not agree at all that this offer is strong enough to consider, and I'm safely guessing Army would say the same thing. Nobody is going to pull Parayko away without giving something that hurts. Bet the farm on that one.</div></div>
Just because he’s small doesn’t mean he doesn’t have value. He’s a skilled, 19yo C. It wouldn’t hurt to have in the system. The 24 1st would be in the 20-32 range but still holds value. And that early second this year would be great. With our LD situation, I think we need to shift towards 3 years out and not next year. Parayko is still a great player and will be for several more years but as noted by all these Buffalo fans, the end of the contract isn’t going to be ideal. That will be the timeframe when we’re competitive again. Cap space is an asset and this deal gives us that.
But again, that’s what I would want. I know Doug thinks he can turn it around in a year or 2 but I think all that’s gonna do is give us 10 years of mediocrity.

Only the first part is true.
He's a good puck mover and effective on the PP, but he's pretty awful in his own end and doesnt do a good job at preventing zone entries, which was a big problem for the team last year.

This is the problem, we do not need a PP QB defenseman. We have Dahlin and Power, we need a player who is good in defense.

I would think Sweeney would be looking for a 1st round pick or young centre in return for Swayman. If Bruins are trading Swayman in division I'd look at Ottawa and try for Pinto in return.

Since entering the league in 2020-2021, among goalies with at least 50 games, Swayman Ranks:
GAA - 1st
SV% - 4th
GSAA - 10th
HDGAA - 1st
HDSV% - 3rd
HDGSAA - 11th
SO - 8th
He's only 24yrs old and not even in his prime yet. UPL (whose a year younger) in his first 44 games has an .897 SV% and a -13.2 GSAA. The difference between the two is more than a 2nd round pick.

Nashville has no use for Olofsson. Tomasino and Evangalista are showing they belong in the NHL and i doubt Trotz has interest in picking up alot of spare pieces and giving Hynes tbe option of benching the young guys. Price is fair enough though... just not the right location. As it is, Asplund has been remarkably unimpressive so im not sure where he fits long term.

So Close
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>rktkt66</b></div><div>
Instead of Jeannot, I'd target Garland for the 3rd line RW spot - he's clearly available, fits the work ethic / speed / forechecking style Granato prefers and 5x5 possession driver than Olofsson. If Krebs slides up to take Mittelstadt's place and Jost drops back between Girgensons & Okposo, a 3rd line of Asplund-Krebs-Garland could be pretty good 2-way line that controls play and chips in some offense without getting caved in like the current 3rd line does.</div></div>
Many Sabres fans on this website have an obsession with acquiring a physical winger, which Garland is not. Jeannot is the general Target of that obsession because he had a decent offensive year last season, is young like most of our roster, and plays a physical style. I like both players for different reasons, but Jeannot is the younger player and less expensive currently. Consequently, you know a trade for him would cost more, but they have plenty of draft capital they can use to make something like that happen.
