Description
Sounds like Ferland is more and more likely to happen. Source said that there are 2-3 teams actively pursuing him, and one of those teams is the Penguins. I am going to say that they get outbid here. Pens save their first rounder and use it to acquire Silfverberg.

Since Winnipeg wasn't in any interest in trading Adam Lowry, I went with one of their Dmen. I think Morrissey is playing a little above his head right now, but that's not shot at him. He's great. I based this off of the reports that Winnipeg was still interested in Brassard this season, and added the 2nd pick since Brassard is UFA and because Morrissey has been playing really well.

I really would only be trading Maatta if we got Morrissey back, so if that trade doesn't happen then this trade would be moot. He just has a higher cap hit and I don't see them getting Jack Johnson off the books until the Seattle expansion.

I want Boyle on this team, I don't know what it would take but I want him on this current roster. GET. HIM. HERE.

Winnipeg isn't trading Morrisey. He's arguably their best defenceman

Hard to argue, was hoping he flew under the radar. Do you think Brassard, Maatta and a 2nd could do it, or simply untouchable?

So if those trades are null, how do you feel about Silfverberg?

There's no argument, he's definitely there best all round defenseman. Buff is 2 and Trouba/Myers split 3 and 4 depending on who's playing better. Trouba is overrated in my opinion.
