Dont know if things like that are doable but...

I wonder if Marleau can be "faked" to LTIR next year with some interim club doctors to back his "injury" to relieve the cap and then come back from LTIR at TDL for the playoffs to maybe run for the ring ( which he came to seek with TML )

thing are getting desparate here with Dubiarelli paying premium contracts to everybody.....

I'm not familiar with rules but if on LTIR he still crop his payment right ? LTIR guys get a ring too ? so he could just sit at home tho....call it a retirement but without cap hit....
