you're giving up all of that to have duchene as your 3C? i get that it makes your team very deep but thats just not a move for the bruins to make

No interest in kovalchuk at all. Certainly no interest in Duchene at that price. Definitely no interest in being over the cap, or having crazy cap overages next year.
