Balisy is a 27 year-old career minor leaguer. Plus, he's a center, which STL is deep on now. That's a big overpay by the Blues...something they aren't willing to do, especially with what and who you seek to trade.

The Blues have liked Stone for at least three years, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them take a run at him at the TDL or as a UFA in the off-season. They aren't giving up Dunn since he's our young, up and coming offensive LHD. Falk is a 30 year-old LHD in the minors! That's additional trash. So your trade proposal is basically renting Stone for two of our top three prospects, a 1st round pick and two 2nds. That's preposterous, especially for a rental.

Cut your prices by legit 70% to start the discussion. You overvalue your players, AND don’t understand the rental market

MTL apparently fully reimburses Ottawa for thier Duchene trade but only get him for 2 months not 2 years.... that makes sense......

2 months of Stone is apparently worth 6 pieces for 2 months....3 of those pieces are very good young players but ya why not.......
