if sam gagner can find his game in the nhl as a 3c, this is a pretty decent trade.
but grandland plays better at wing then C. so move draisaitl down as 2c and play granlund beside him

Good call, wasn't overly familiar with where he plays and yea I don't know that Gagner is an ideal 3C

The value is extremely close. That said, I can't see us moving any picks unless we get a better one in return. How about something like Granny + Coyle for Nuge + Pul/Yam?

Edit: also, Granny is not good ac center. Put him on a wing with Draisaitl or McDavid and he'll perform much better.

I think we gotta add Granlund without giving up RNH/Drai/McD or Klef/Nurse/Bouchard. Those 6 are our core, I think everyone else is expendable

Without adding one of those guys I dont see how Granlund is acquired by trade. Those 6 may be the core but the core isnt working and I dont see any other quality to offer Minnesota.
