    MTL would be a player in Jaskin i think but likely this summer .
    playing with Danault made Jaskin a top 5 scorer in the league .
    Jaskin protected Danault and was a great screen infront of the net getting a ton of deflections .

    IF used properly , Jaskin can be a competitive middle 6 forward because of his pure physicality and willingness to drive the net.
    his only issues is outside Danault he never really clicked with anyone in junior as there is a strong language barrier Barbashev helped branch . (Barbashev-Danault-Jaskin was one of the most fun line in the QMJHL to watch that year and one of the most productive.)

    we need Grit , you need speed/skill .

    I'd do that trade. Jaskin is a fantastic defensive forward with size. His main issue is he has stone hands.
