Description
I plan to do this for every team leading up to the NHL draft with giving a ranked guide on each teams prospects and what their needs might be in the upcoming draft. (I plan to be ranking by Positions only not 1,2,3 ect... that could take way to much time and have way to much non constructive talk about who is 14th vs 15th ect... Alongside il be giving an overall for their prospect pool with a breakdown of a grade between each Position.

Center Prospects:
Overall Grade: C
#1: Riley Stotts
#2: Semyon Der-Arguchintsev
#3: Adam Brooks
#4- Dakota Joshua
#5-T: Everyone Else

Its safe to say leafs are lacking high quality Center prospects (Although they don't need Centers at the moment) SDA would have been the highest rated prospect at Center after training camp concluded but while still being on the same point pace he was last year in the OHL there has been no actual improvement and hes down to only 6 goals in his 3rd OHL Season.

Stotts has impressed me quite a bit with Calgary, improving his to just shy of a PPG pace and improving his defensive game a lot in his only 2nd year in the WHL. I expect Stotts to stay in the WHL next season as well while joining the Marlies in late March after the WHL season of 2019-2020.

Adam Brooks i am not sure still is a "prospect" but the Leafs decided to play him at Center and hes looked really good there so far. I think in the future if he continues could be a good 4th line Center.

Dakota Joshua is a PPG player in the NCAA's BIG-10 at Ohio state and he has looked good as a two way center with some explosive speed. We will see if Joshua decides to sign with the club as his 4th season with Ohio and his schooling ends this year.

Wingers:
Overall Grade: B-
#1: Jeremy Bracco
#2: Dmytro Timashov
#3 Michael Carcone
#4 Miro Aaltonen ***
#5-T Everyone Else

Jeremy Bracco Easy the #1 player on the list of wingers, has lit up the AHL up this year at over a PPG pace he has exploded in his 2nd year in the Minors at only 5'9 would be my only concern is his size. Then again we have players like Point & Johnny.G who have seem to shown is size is not a huge issue.

Dmytro Timashov is again another high skilled fast winger with scoring ability putting up decent numbers for the Marlies this season. I think Timashov could be a decent 3rd/4th line scoring winger if he continues to develop his defensive game.

l will be honest i do not know a ton about Carcone since he was traded in the Levio trade. Just hes putting up some pretty good numbers in the AHL and was on just under a PPG pace with Utica.

I would have had Miro Aaltonen first on this list HOWEVER because he left for the KHL this season that concerns me. hes tearing up the KHL and looks to be a Solid Middle 6 player for the Leafs but i am concerned if he wants to turn to North America if he does that is awesome but him leaving for the KHL this summer is a big red flag for me.

Defence:
Overall Grade: A
#1: Rasmus Sandin
#2: Timothy Liljegren
#3-T: Mac Hollowell
#3-T: Filip Král
#4: Fedor Gordeev
Unknown: Joseph Duszak

Sandin is the Clear #1 Defensive prospect, Sandin showcased his skill at the WJC U20 with Sweden is about a .5 PPG player in the AHL at just 18 (Turned 19 a week ago) By far the best prospect in the Leafs system

A lot of hype has dropped off for me about Liljegren, he gets burned a lot in his own end attempting to do stretch passes but overall hes still a great prospect should be a solid #3/4 Dman in the future for the Leafs.

Mac Hollowell has been on fire in Junior this year. Leading in OHL scoring for Dmen (73 Points in 61 Games) and is in the discussion for the best player in the CHL this year (OHL,QMJHL & WHL)

Filip Král again has been great for the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL he is going to need a few years in the AHL but should be a solid 2nd/3rd pair LHD in the future for TOR.

Fedor Gordeev is a massive LHD at 6'6, the definition of big body player and a player of his size would normally diminish his skating ability but Gordeev has proven otherwise.

Joseph Duszak: I have actually no idea where he would be placed in this because iv yet to see him play ever. However this is going to change as it seems the Leafs are bringing in Duszak to the Marlies for a tryout.

Goaltenders:
Overall Grade: B+
#1: Joseph Woll
#2: Ian Scott

Woll is the clear cut #1 between these two. hes been fire as Boston Colleges #1 with a .917 SV%, what makes this even more impressive is that Boston has not even be the greatest team this year sitting in the middle of their division at just 14-16-4.

Ian Scott was on fire to start the year leading to his ELC contract but since around December has been putting up average goaltending at best. On December 1st Scott has a SV% of .951 on an Elite junior team in Prince Albert. Since then his total SV% has dropped to a .932. While this is still impressive its underwhelming considering his start to the year.

Only things I would change is that Brooks is no1 C prospect in Leafs system imo, Räsänen should be above Král and Hollowell and Korshkov should be no3 winger prospect, he is really good and better than Carcone. I dont see Kral as future NHLer but thats just 3 little tweaks, otherwise great job smile Duszak is here too little to be ranked yet.

I got it. I watched them fairly enough to know what they are. I would say that Dcore depth ranking would be with them like this (also with Duszak in there):

1 Sandin
2 Liljegren
3 Duszak
4 Räsänen
5 Hollowell
6 Gordeev
7 Kral

Räsänen has solid potential to be on level of Sandin and Liljegren if he develops properly. He can be top-4 Dman in the league.

Oh i dont think overall the Goaltending prospects are good in the overall scheme of the NHL, just that Woll is a lot better than Ian Scott from an Organizational perspective compared to other NHL organizations not many have 2 Backup/Fringe starter level prospects.
