No they don't. They have no interest in Kadri or Pesce while they're in a clear rebuild.

Also, that Dallas trade is horrific.

Edmonton one is interesting though

Yes Ottawa needs a RHD more than anything and Pesce is a shutdown D locked to a Melnyk Friendly contract and is only 24 years old

How is that Dallas trade horrific? On what side? Oleksiak was literally traded for a 4th rounder two months ago? Timashov is probably worth a 4th, and he isnt going to make the leafs.

& by the time Ottawa is competitive again, Pesce will be 30 and past his prime. Makes no sense to ruin his prime years in Ottawa.

Plus, if Kadri can get Pesce in return, Toronto just makes that deal with Carolina instead. Brown is good, but prospects aren't what Toronto needs. Plus Ottawa isn't giving up prospects and picks while in a rebuild. That's pretty common sense
