Interested to hear the other side's opinion here.

Edmonton needs offense, Detroit needs D. Really, both teams really need both but Detroit has about 100 forwards signed at this point and it looks like they probably draft another forward. Mantha a bit of a down year this year (and lost some time to injury). Still, should be an annual 25 goal scorer. Would imagine playing with McDavid could easily put him over 30.

There is no chance in a million years that the oilers do that deal, even if the value is there which I don’t think it is.

I like this deal for Edmonton, if they add a good winger to play with mcdavid that will go a long way to helping them make it back to the playoffs, then have Draisaitl and RNH on the 2nd and they will have two solid lines regardless of who the 3rd guy is on the line, and while Bouchard is good and defence is a need. I don’t think Bouchard is what Edmonton needs, from watching his play this year (7 games) what I’ve seen a strong smart player who does a lot of little things right and slows the game down defensively, what Edmonton needs on the back end though is a high octane offensive defenseman and that is not Bouchard

I dont think Edmonton entertains this. They have a lot of D but they lack good D, thats the problem

Doubt either team does this, If we move Mantha it's probably in a deal for Trouba and nothing else.
