Not a bad idea on Shaw trade, Shaw is selling high and Pulijarvi is buying low which two smart moves in one trade, you might not get the 2nd rounder back since I am 95% sure you are getting the best player in the deal even if u are taking sekera

Jets decline because they need Niku, they will give up a 2rd pick but not Niku. I dont know why you are trading Alzner, I really dont get it and you retained salary.

On Alzner; how else are you going to afford adding the 25-40 goals in Pavelski if you are not over-paying to get rid of Alzner. Besides, a player who has been buried for 1 year would be easier to trade, than a player who is buried for 2-3 years.If Alzner is still playing in Laval after 2 years, at his age and lack of seasoning at the nhl level, he will more than likely will remain buried and eat away at your cap. Not good.

Pretty sure Edm doesn't do that trade. Sekera had been great since coming back. Look at their record over the last two years with him in the line-up vs out. He is not a throw away player for someone like Shaw.
