Description
Unless BM wants to shake up his whole roster, this team should pretty much stay the same as it ended this season. The kids will be better and with a new coach coming in this team should be able to turn it around and make the playoffs. Even if they miss the playoffs again getting a high draft pick won't hurt this team. The future is bright for this team and they should be a contender for the cup in less than 5 years again.

I'm with you, but I would add Maxime Comtois and Kiefer Sherwood. It will be interesting to see who the Ducks draft at #9. Is Soderstrom good enough to go that high?

There will be some moves but I don’t think it’ll be anything dramatic. Probly someone like Ritchie or shore moved just to open roster space for all the kids. But I agree this team should at least be in the playoff hunt next season. They finished the year 12-5-1 I believe. RC did a number on this team and they stopped playing for him. New coach fresh start and the kids playing all season should be enough to at least compete for playoffs.

If we're not adding anybody then we don't need to put Eaves and Kesler on LTIR, in fact we can't. This team absolutely needs to add a d-man. Welinski is just a minor leaguer, we need a veteran who can handle big minutes.

I would love to add Comtois but Murray likes keeping the kids in the AHL for a full year if possible. Though I would love to see Comtois play with Getzlaf as his center.

I would completely agree with that. Minor transactions at most. I think BM saw the potential of this team at the end of the year. I feel Ritchie is the odd man out and with him holding out to sign this off season, he is the easy target to get out of Anaheim.

The only thing with Ritchie is that this was his best season. He came him quicker and was the only + regular on the team.
