I hate to move AA but I think we should be proactive to get trouba here and signed. I dont think we should take the wait and see approach

1) I think you are over-valuing Trouba. He projects as a #2 d-man according to some important metrics (ozone starts, negative possession ratings, very high of PDO) on a good team too. Also undervaluing AA--unless you think Detroit can't re-sign him as a RFA somehow.
2) Kuffner is going to the AHL as he looked like he needed some seasoning at the professional level.
3) Why would the Wings sign 28 yr old Brock Nelson? They will have centers Larkin, Nielsen, Helm, AA, Glendening, Rasmussen, Veleno, and either Cozens, Dach, or Turcotte under contract for the next two years at least. Beyond that why would Nelson come to a rebuild for only a 3 year contract at only a small raise.
4) Finally why would Hicketts play over Cholowski?
