Why does Buchnevich get that much? Canucks have D, no need for Shatty. Kreider and Pionk do not address Leafs needs.

I think Fleury is a player the Canes could move, but I’m not sure VN would be the target. Think Vlad is a bottom 6 C who is a little over paid. We have plenty of bottom 6 forwards on the roster and in Charlotte to over pay for one.

Lol... I think not...
Let's not pretend that Kreider/Pionk are not a very nice package for same $$$ next season. Make no mistake TML are in win now mode....
Kreider offers speed ,size, net presence and grit all better than Nylander.
The fact that Pionk is an upgrade in Tor more than justifies his value to them.

Would agree... but also think VN is capable of playing on a high skill line and producing... he did very well in Tampa. Understood he did not carry lines... but able to play and score with elite linemates. Not all can say that.

Would wonder if Tampa sees value in him or not. Would be a good tell.
