Hall Trade - NSH PHI OTT

That's a waste of Hall in my opinion.

Hall being on another rebuilding team is a waste. This trade makes sense to me, but i think i would be going younger than ghost when trading pk away again.

So Hall w/ 4 years left on contract was worth Adam Larsson.

Now Hall w/ 1 year left on contract is worth PK Subban, 1 first round draft pick, and another possible 1st round draft pick. He also will be coming off of knee surgery (2nd time on the same knee) and hasn't played since Dec. 23.

Sure his numbers increased getting away from the incompetent clown show known as Edmonton but w/ 1 year left you aren't going to get that kind of return.

Beyond that if Nashville could trade PK Subban + 2020 3rd and return Gostibehere + Lindbolm + some picks they'd be better off doing that themselves and trading Josi for a great futures package.

Why? I think it is one of the best scenarios if he doesn't want to sign new contract with NJ.
But here "efiug" doesn't use NJ cap space, i think NJ can get much more for Subban. Retain 2,000,000+ of his contract and his price will be much higher.Finally, so many profit from that type of Hall trade.
Also NSH can add a little more.

PK is 30 and 3 yrs left @ $9M per 9$7 with your proposal). If Shero promised Hall to fast track the rebuild and stay I kinda see it. Without Hall were not as dynamic. Your solving one problem, sort of, with PK but making it tougher on Nico/Hughes. In 3 yrs were looking for a #1 RHD again.

BTW to post above you Nik: knee was not a "surgery" it was a clean out, much different than say an ACL/Miniscus tear
