Pretty good trades to me. The only ones I don't think would work are the Vancouver and Pitt ones. That 3rd year of Lucic's contract is the issue for them I think, otherwise some sort of deal would have been worked out already. It's right as they are starting to seriously contend and kids will need to be paid; 6 mill is a lot of dead cap if they get into a Toronto situation in the future. Pitt must contend with their core in the 30s. If they move those guys its for fresh faces with similar ability. Prospects/picks won't help Crosby in the near future.

Russell/Pysyk are similar but the pick needs to go the other way for cap hits, Blues have no incentive to retain on Allen, and Risto is miscast at a #1 but can score on PP and is just 24 so he can be refined still. It would take a decent add to Larsson to get him.

Trading Larsson is a bad idea. We already know that Risto can't handle 1st pairing minutes (see: his whole career in BUF), so unless you're adding him as a 2RD behind Larsson it doesn't make sense to acquire him at all.

Sutter is still useful as a defensive player, for them to take Lucic you probably have to retain 1M and straight up pay a 2nd pick
and spare parts and cap dump + Kailer for Kessel? Pitt is looking for quality not quantity (he won't waive for Edmonton anyway)
