that willy trade is bad, considering brown should be pretty easy to move on his own. You're giving up a really talented young player and some decent picks for two mediocre older one's that will cost you ~850K less. And then you move zaitsev right after. You basically gave willy away for free to get a marginal upgrade on zaitsev.

Could have just trade zaitsev and all those picks for for savard. Like seriously Zaitsev a 2nd, 2 3rds, a 4th, and 2 7ths could easily get you Savard and Jarmo would probably toss Anderson in too because he felt bad.

LOL, thanks for the great laugh. Savard is worth more then Zaitzev by a good chunk. Savard is Columbus's best defensive defenseman. So that is a hard pass for Columbus on your suggested trade. The trade posted is much better for value of Anderson and Savard.

Gee, don't know Columbus does that trade. Anderson is a better NHL player than Nylander and a lot cheaper.
Leafs would be better just to keep Zaitsev and not give away all those picks just to obtain Savard
