Hard to believe that Calgary, who paid a first and two seconds to obtain Hamonic, would accept Johnsson, a third and a fifth to send him away.

One of the better TML posts to be fair,

HOWEVER, you now have 283k in cap space for 20 players, good luck with that.

Another 3+ million contract needs to go. (Nylander would give the team 7mil in cap space and allow a better defenseman to be acquired and better team depth.) And that 4th line and 3rd pairing is weak.

Also, you have created a one year team, with Muzzin, Hamonic, Holl and Marleau all UFAs, which frees up 14mil, but then you have RFAs in: Dermott, Faksa, Gautheir that might eat almost half that and Anderson/Hyman UFAs a year later, without top prospects to really replace them.

Some good changes, but I think the team would get the same result.
