COL should keep Kerfoot and the 1st. Be patient. They have a TON of talent and they're just going to get better with 1sts and 4 more years of Mac on a steal of a contract.

Not a huge fan of it, no need to burn those assets yet. Plus it seems like Kessel doesnt want to leave Pittsburgh so he evoking that NMC

What you say is true, but it would be very beneficial to have a second line that is a legit threat to score every shift.

I don't think it is a matter of Kessel not wanting to leave. It is a matter of him not wanting to go to certain teams. I feel what COL would be getting makes the assets worth it. kerfoot is a very good player, but there are good, younger players that can fill that void. Late 1st round pick is not a guarantee to be a helpful player. Could end up being a bust. Take the sure thing over a maybe.
