This is just all sorts of bad!
I'll start with the Connor contract, there's zero chance he's signing for that, gonna need to add at the very very least another $1.75M but probably even more.
Copp will probably be a bit more and Ferland will be starting at $4M, Beaulieu is not worth $3M.
Trouba isn't getting Gostisbehere and the Flyers 1st, it's either one or the other but not both.
The Nashville trade is just adding a bigger cap hit for an extra season plus a guy who sounds like a dressing room cancer, the Jets already have enough issues in that department so no thanks, Buff is better then Subban anyway so why bother.
Then there's the brutal Laine trade, I like Danault and he'd be a good addition but he's got two more seasons and then he likely leaves, I'm a huge Armia fan and would like him back but he's a 3rd line RW, maybe the best one in the game though and Mete is good but he's another smallish LHD, the Jets already have two of those so don't need another. If I'm trading a goal scorer of Laine's ability it better be for a damn solid return, a soon to be expiring 2C, a smallish defenseman and a 3rd line winger doesn't get it done and then you want to send Montreal a 1st with Laine?! Unbelievably bad trade for the Jets.
And to top it all off of course Tanev is signed to be back dragging down any chance the 3rd line might have of scoring.
This ACGM needs to be completely redone, it's brutally bad for the Jets.
