Take the 2.5 for Heinen and the couple of million on your depth signings to re-sign Johansson if you can get him for 4-4.5 mil. Rather have Jo than Heinen any day.

yeah I like Heinen but kulman can take that spot and save 2 million and move Heinen in a bigger deal or to move backes maybe. I like Nyquist being a Detroit fan but having seen him play a lot they will hate him in boston, especially with this emphasis on the bruins being too soft after the st louis series. Hes not a physical guy but he is skilled. I think keep Johansson, hes close to the same player as Nyquist and will probably be cheaper.

You can do both if you go lower on McAvoy/Carlo. I’m not a huge fan of giving up Heinen who’s a good third liner making 2.5.

Heinen is not that good. He doesn’t make anything happen. He just skates around and the play happens around him. He rarely seems involved. Give a young player a chance. Trade Heinen if he has trade value because we need more than what he is offering.
