Leafs 2019-20 - My thoughts of where the team is as of today

Luchuk, Gravel and Agostino will not make the team and will start with the Marlies.

Ilya Mikhelev will surprise everyone and quickly adapt to the smaller ice surface and make the team to start the season.

With Hymen injured to start the season Moore will be given the initial opportunity to take his place on the Tavares line and when Hymen is back will move done to the third line.

Nick shore will take the fourth line center and Spezza will move to the forth line RW. Spezza will take a lot of the draws for that forth line.

With Hymen out to start the season Petan will get a chance to play and a spot for other waiver exempt prospects is available that the leafs can try them out in. They will start with Korshkov that will add some physicality to the team. When Hymen returns this player will be sent back down to the Marlies.

Harpur will be the bottom pair LD and with Dermott out to start the season Marincin will be the bottom pair RD. When Dermott returns he will take over bottom pair RD and Holl or Gauthier will be waived or traded. Most likely Gauthier.

Bracco, Sandin and Liljegren will stay with the Marlies this year to continue their development and to ensure they are protected from the expasnion draft.
