Florida declines. They're pretty heavy on RHD after signing Stralman

I doubt Detroit trades Mantha and they aren't trading him with Rasmussen. Krug is a 2 or 3 but not a number 1 defenseman. Now that Mantha has finally started to play up to his potential I don't see Detroit trading him for anything less than a number 1 defenseman. Detroit has been after Trouba for about 3 years now and I think it's safe to say if Mantha was offered to Winnipeg, Trouba would be in Detroit right now. If Yzerman wasn't willing give up Mantha for Trouba I don't think he would give him up for Krug.

Rasmusssen's season was a mess thanks to Ken Holland. Rasmussen should've spent last season playing for the Tri-City Americans in his final year of eligibility. After playing 10 games in the NHL if Holland wanted to send him back to Juniors it would've burned a year off his contract. Since he had a year of eligibility left he couldn't play in the AHL without permission from the WHL and the Tri-City Americans. So l think they will give him another chance before trading hm because 18 points isn't an accurate gauge of his value and since he wouldn't be worth much more then that to any other team it only makes sense to give him at least another year or 2.
