Description

A trade of contracts. Bruins save 3 million. However, they part ways with Zboril and a 3rd round pick (If it's too little, then a 2021 2nd Round pick instead of a 3rd.)

Minnesota has the cap space and the veteran presence of Backes can benefit them but obviously won't help them much on the ice. They have young talent that can replace Foligno. If Zboril isn't enough then either add a better prospect or add another prospect along with Zboril.

zaboril is a middling prospect and a 3rd but I cant see anyone taking backes for less than a 1st or a better player. I dont think it helps minny enough to eat that cash

no one would take backes for less than a first? How about to edmonton for Lucic? Think they would demand a first? Point is, there are plenty of ways to exchange contracts.

you know what I mean , to exit the player and not take significant cap back, obviously getting a guy like lucic back doesn't help in the slightest with the money issues
