pens have 0 guys on this list. just goes to show how great value their core contracts are. too bad their depth contracts suck. its really frustrating because if it wasn't for frivolous spending, pens could easily add another elite dynamic player. pens have the hardest part done right (amazing core contracts). I can't believe how badly Rutherford has botched the depth contracts since 2017

Malkin's contract was done in 2013. Cap percentage in that contract was around 14,8%. Out of current $81,5M salary cap that percentage is more than $12M.

Shows that the older contracts are quite beneficial lol

Tbay's fanbase agree with you about their own team and what Stevie Y did to their middle 6 forwards.

And the Leafs will own 3 of the top money earners on this list.

A shock that the Sabres own 2 high price players.
