I was under the impression that Mcavoy wanted a bridge... has something changed?

I'm a Jets fan, so I dunno. That would make him even cheaper though, which would help the Bruins short term.

Yup, I believe it’s going to be a 2 year deal around 5m. He has already turned down a long term offer. It was a lowball but I think the bridge works for the team and helps Mcavoy down the road.

what is your justification for 5 million for 2 years? 3 would be fine. 3.5 if they're feeling generous.
