I'm just not a fan of only buying out one year of UFA for McAvoy, especially with the group 1 RFA leverage the bruins have.

He turned down 8x7.5, I could see him sitting out so it's not like he has *no* leverage, and I don't think the Bruins can/would want to go 8x8. What're your thoughts, 2x3, 3x5, 7x7x5?

Not enough to dump Backes and take Pageau. Pageau is worth a 2nd, the price to dump 2 years of Backes is more than Cehlarik.

Interesting, I thought Ottawa wanted to get rid of him so was thinking he was worth maybe Cehlarik and that 4.5M of Backes/2nd was worth it.
