I say Andersson stays in HFD unless he really plays himself on the team. Let him play 15mins or more a game and let him grow. No need playing 8mins a game, it’s point

Eaves is LTIRetired so you can save an extra 2 mil there, but ANA has 0 need for Namestnikov

zero need? if not for the weight of his contract- in this frozen trade market, where most teams are up to the cap- or will be there when they resolve their RFA situations- he would probably be a nice fit with most teams...a defensively sound player who can play C or LW up and down lineup....hustles and goes to dirty areas...can kill penalties...I would think ANA really could use him....he can play with high end talent (as he did in TB) and he can play along with young/developing players- I believe the Ducks will look to bring a few along this year....I wouldn't completely judge Names on his numbers with the Rangers- a team which has been in heavy transition since the 2018 TDL.

I'm just saying they have a ton of NHL middle/bottom 6 forwards, they don't need to add another, though they'd still probably accept that trade bc they could flip Namestnikov for a late pick, or 50% retain and get something, or move out a different guy for something
