Don’t think BOS is the best trade partner for Kreisler...they already have Marchand and DeBrusk at LW....neither whom they are looking to move on from...and Heinen at 3 LW- maybe he could be included in a package back- but his inclusion in a deal would water down the other pieces coming back...BOS also has their own cap issues to handle

Agreed here

Fine, Kreider is a good player, can get 20-25G with ~50 pts, is a big body and a MA native.

But
-Bruins have cap issues
-Need to sign McAvoy AND Carlo first
-Already have Marchand & DeBrusk at LW
-Kreider doesn't play RW, he's LW
-Kreider is a rental
-Good draft; Sweeney is reluctant to move his 1st because of the last BOS-NYR deal lol

Only way you get this return is at trade deadline; NYR fans or whatever, people need to stop overvaluing Kreider

You are trading with two of the most cap strapped teams in the league and taking no salary back.

All good points here...for cap reasons I can't see Kreider moved anywhere until mid season/ up to TDL- unless the Rangers take a discount for him (not happening- although one or two of some other players may be moved at a discount). Most teams in the contention window seem to be at or near cap...so unless the Rangers are willing to eat some salary, a deal not happening now....and if they were willing to eat some salary- that would have to be reflected in the return- for which most teams are already leery since he now is essentially a rental.
