Mayfield's contract is too good for NYI to move. Doubt he'd be on the top pairing though.

Not Even for a 20-goal scorer? And, probably agree with you that Ceci would stay on top pair, for now, and a Mayfield would play on 3rd pairing with Dermott.

20 goal scorer with Matthews/Tavares as his center... Kind of has Conor Sheary written all over him.

I really disagree in keeping a player for five games in the NHL, when your plan is send to the Marlies anyway. So now you have Holl or another Dman sitting for two weeks and now has to get up to NHL speed.
Isles probably don't want to move a cost efficient Dman and they really don't need another winger.
