This is a big what if just bc the red wings can’t seem to stay healthy, but at full health, this team doesn’t look awful. They’re in a bad slump right now with a few key players out too that doesn’t help it. It sucks but that’s just how things go sometimes, but I fully expect them to bounce back here soon and get things going. Btw, if they don’t, blashill isn’t getting canned mid-season. His contract is a 1+1, so if they don’t like how the season goes, Yzerman can just decline his option and release him after the year

I think id swap hirose and fabri to start and see if he gets AA going a bit more. We already know that the AA hirose filp trio didn't really work. I 100% think Blashill is getting fired and soon. they cant lose by 4 goals every night and just live with it. The schedule coming up is boston, vegas they fire blashil then the new coach gets Anaheim, LA, SJ, Ottawa Columbus and NJ after that. its a perfect spot to make a change. you have Bylsma sitting there. I dont hold Blashill responsible for everything wrong but you cant do nothing.

Nice side bonus to trade DLR had arb rights so he could have leverage or make wings walk away..fabbri no arb rights yet so he'll likely stay cheap $cap hit ..unless he's healthy & his old form returns..win win 4 redwings & Stevie Y ...& 1 year younger too than DLR
