Description
No reason for him to waive for Detroit of course, but was wondering what people saw as the value. Destroys any left side D depth Detroit has. Oh, and yeah, I'm losing faith in Cholowski as a 2/3. Could be top 4 but he's slow at getting there.

Hes a 7th defenseman at best. This is such a bad trade for the worst contract in the league

Definitely a bad contract. But I'm trading for an 18 year old RH center who can produce at even strength in the NHL. It's like mortgaging the house to bid on a unicorn.

They'd probably be better off just buying Seabrook out or sending him to the AHL or whatever and just live without his extra cap space until his contract is over than losing Dach at this point.

Talent is more valuable than cap space at the end of the day.

Yeah i'd pass on Seabrook, And no reason for him to waive his NMC for the worst team in the NHL.

Sure but spending 6 million on a non nhl player for 5 more years is brutal. Getting dach is great but when the rookies need new contracts you will be right up at the cap. The cap is going up but 6 million is 6 million
