Fair, reasonable and realistic trades, could maybe add another late round lottery pick to LA but not certain it's totally necessary either.

I don't see any reason to bring Strome back if he is playing with those linemates. His most common linemates are a combination of Panarin, Kreider, Buchnevich, Kakko, and Fast + getting 1st PP duty. So I don't see him putting up the same production if given Nygard and Chiasson on his wings and 2nd PP duty.

Not asking him to have the same production. Asking him to carry a 3rd line is different from asking him to put up PPG numbers. We just need him to make 2 wingers look 3rd line worthy and not be a liability on the defensive end.

But he couldn't do it during his first stint, and I'm saying I don't think he will again unless he has better linemates. I think he's a player that needs skilled players to perform at his best

Lot of people in Edmonton thought he was doing just fine in his 3C role and were upset he got traded. Yes, I think he's better off as a winger and probably on a skill line, but this team needs a 3C that is reliable defensively and I thought Strome is the best fit because he was well liked in the room and proved he is reliable defensively.
