Wait, what's the Leafs biggest problem? Is it scoring or goals against? Loading up one line isn't going to produce better defence, and Nylander has certainly proved he is not a centre and playing Spezza on our 3rd line consistently is risky.

I think what the Leafs are missing is Kadri's ability to run a "match-up" line where they used to have lots of success. I'd like to see them use JT in that role, maybe with Hyman and Mikheyev? Then you can either put Marner w/ Matty and Willy (a mistake I think) or let him play with Kerfoot and Kappy on the 3rd (at least until Johnsson comes back).
