Not bad. If the Kings don't land a solid D prospect in the next 2 drafts, they need to get top 4 D like Krug, Petro, Barrie, Risto, Sergachev, ect.

Agreed, Kings should be ok with what they have offensively prospect wise. If they win the lottery and somehow get Lafreniere or Byfield they will need to pay for a top 4 guy.

If the Kings get a top 5 pick in the draft, they should select a winger, not a defenseman. Aside from maybe Kaliyev, the Kings have no top-line capable wingers in the pipeline. Meanwhile, the Kings have Doughty and Walker at RD for the foreseeable future with Durzi only a couple years away.

Here's my draft pick preference in order:
Lafreniere
Byfield (not a winger, but unanimously considered the 2nd best player in the draft)
Perfetti
Holtz
Raymond

If they miss on all of those, then they can consider taking a defenseman, as there's a substantial drop off in talent before the next winger.
