Description
this is what I would thoroughly enjoy to see.

This is all depending on how the rest of this season goes. Tucker Poolman has been really solid and I think the Jets wouldn't really have to do much to solidify their blue line. I signed Edmunson as a stop-gap for Samberg & Heinola.

Do you think Vesalainen & Appleton will get more minutes then Copp and Perreault ?

I think that they'd be the 3rd scoring line, but I doubt they get more minutes. The Jets effectively use Copp and Lowry together as a shutdown line. The only reason our 4th line is getting hardly any minutes right now is because they are extremely unreliable. I think if the lines looked like this next year you'd see the minutes be more evenly distributed.

Swap Ehlers and Connor. I think Samberg plays before Stanley, although I sometimes fear he won’t sign here. Otherwise I like this lineup.

I do agree with the possibility of Samberg not signing. I do think though that having Neal Pionk around will make a huge difference. They both grew up around each other and I could see that having a positive effect on the situation. I think that Samberg will sign if he has a real shot at getting a roster spot (which I think he does and he thinks he does)

I was thinking about swapping Ehlers and Connor but I didn't as I'm curious to see how this top 6 we have now performs the rest of the year. I wouldn't be surprised to see the lineup staying like this.

I HAve Stanley in over Samberg as I think he has the inside shot just due to having a full good year in the AHL this year. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Samberg come to camp and absolutely dominate.

I think they need Ehlers for zone entries on the first line as both Scheifele and Laine kinda suck. Connor and Roslo should handle entries fine on the second line. Split that speed up between two lines. Play Frenchie up and down on the 3/4 lines as needed. Having Vesa with Little should help his development as well. Second pairing of Samberg/Pionk would be nice to see but if he doesn’t sign within a week of his year being done at Duluth we need to start shopping him.
