I don't want to pay Petra or anyone 10 million in the offseason, it's not where this team is. Now I'd love a guy like Edmonson who can play top 4 minutes and be good in his own zone and not cost much. Goalie will be interesting lehner is pretty good or I'd take markstrom on like a 4 year deal.

Yeah, the Pietrangelo thing was just playing around. I don't think it is possible, and I could argue for and against pulling that trigger anyway. Markstrom is an interesting choice. I'm not excited about it, but it may make sense for the moment.

I also took a look at Edmonson after you mentioned him. Yeah, that makes sense. They have to sign two solid defensive defensemen in the off season just to stabilize the team for the time being (i.e. get back to losing games by one or two goals rather than three to five).

I like ed, hes better than a guy like nemeth and hes palyed big minutes in big situations. plant him next to hronek for the next 4 or 5 years and its an actual real pairing. it should be dekeyser but guy cant last a season.
