We're fine on D, just need to demote Kempny who has been bad since returning. Paris should be Sieg-Carlson, Orlov-Jensen, Kempny-Gudas or even Fehervary-Gudas. BUT I do love Savard, I just can' see CBJ moving him to a Metro team.

And I don't think a trade for Savard would get done either, but he is the guy we'd be looking for. RHD of his age, size and ability, although the cap hit is a bit steep, and we'd have to unload cap to get him like I did here. Columbus isn't bad enough yet to pull the trigger on selling anything right now, so if they don't collapse soon, they'll probably keep their current pieces (after looking at the standings, they're not good, so maybe they will sell soon). I think they're more likely to sell Savard a year from now if he isn't re-signing before then. The trade value will be significantly reduced then though.
