Columbus declines. We have no need or room for Kapanen on the right side. So there’s no interest in this move from Columbus.

The difference between Ceci and Savard ain't Kapanen. Yea Savard has one more year of term than Ceci, but still. Rangers would want an NHLer for Georgiev.

Rangers are only trading Georgiev if they are blown away by a great offer that includes a top prospect or a 1st round pick in the package. If not, Georgiev and Shesterkin don't mind not being a number one goalie for the rest of this season and next season. Lundqvist might mind, especially if he doesn't plan on retiring at the end of next season. So if retirement is not in Lundqvist plans, he'll waive his NMC and be traded instead of Georgiev.
