Description

Im not really sure what Montreal wants to do with their C depth but from what I’ve seen is a lot of people trading Poehling and keeping Domi/KK/Suzuki and Danault. But I saw this trade a while back figured I’d see how it fairs today. So for the Montreal trade I have it like this. JP > Poehling. Kris Russell is a capable 2nd pairing defenceman who can play both left and right side but Montreal needs LHD. So if Edmonton retains 2M it’s Chicago’s 2020 2nd. With 1M retained it’s Montreal’s 2020 2nd and with no retention it’s a 2020 3rd. What are your thoughts? Fair or maybe drop the picks down. Like at 2M it’s Montreal’s 2020 2nd and so on. Also curious to Leivos contract. Over paid under paid? He’s injured most likely for the remainder of the regular season but he was having a career year. On pace for 16 goals 43 points.
