Description

Prospect Swap, caps have good depth of LHD in Alexeyev, Fehervary and maybe even Nardella. Johansen can barely get into the lineup. Their defensive depth on the left side is also probably the same reason he hasn't be dealt already, they are trying to give him time to stay healthy and figure it out, no urgency for him to get into the NHL given the success of Alexeyev and Fehervary.

1) value seems fair but rangers fans more than likely want more for him. Not sure why but just my general feel in this matter.

A former 1st round pick (Johansen) and a 3rd round pick might be what NYR is looking for.

If freakn Johansen could stay healthy then I think this would work, but right now this trade doesn't happen. Maybe if Johansen gets in soon and plays well for a couple months.
