Getting a dman-Islanders trade

Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Jets get a 2nd pairing LHD with some term, Islanders get the 3C they need for this season and next plus gain cap space for next season to sign their RFA'S, Kulikov is expiring so no commitment to him, he's a #5/6/7 dman for the Islanders for this season depending on if he's ahead of anyone or how long before Boychuk gets hurt.. Lol
Kulikov needs to be in there to make the cap work for the Jets as Buff returning is still an unknown at this point so they need cap space should him returning becomes reality. Moving Leddy also makes room for some of the Islanders young dmen to take more prominent roles with the team. I'm not a Lowry fan but he'd definitely do well in Trotz defensive system.

So who needs to add, likely the Jets but what?
I hear and read so many mixed opinions of Leddy's value/worth I wasn't sure what would make the perfect swap.
I'd upgrade the 3rd to a 2nd but not a 1st, could also add another mid to late round pick if necessary. Guys like Roslovic aren't available in a swap like this nor is Vesalainen or Niku but the Jets have quite a few B-prospect dmen that look decent though the Islanders seem pretty set at D for the next 5-10 years so doubt that would work, Jets are kind of thin for forward prospects so an extra pick for balance would probably be best. My thought was the 3rd was to make up for the extra year of term Leddy has compared to Lowry and that Leddy is more valuable, the 5th was compensation for taking Kulikov but Kulikov still being serviceable the 7th goes to the Jets to somewhat even out the number of assets going in either direction.

I'm thinking this is close but more of a good start/base of a trade that fills holes for both teams and the Jets need to add a bit, all opinions are welcome.
