Description

Sandin and Liljegren appear to be almost ready. If we were to call them up and play them past 9 games, how would if effect the expansion draft?

Leafs will probably go 7F 3D 1G

Rielly, Dermott, Holl would appear to be the three as of now unless a RHD was aquired. Would Sandin and Liljegren playing this year expose them?

Replacing Ceci with Liljegren seems like the obvious choice. Maybe keep Sandin down as we have Rielly, Muzzin, Dermott.

It effects the amount of RFA uears they have not necessarily the expansion exemption

Expansion draft eligibility has already been determined at this point. From that point of view we can play them freely

"Replacing Ceci with Liljegren seems like the obvious choice". Sure doesn't seem obvious to me. Ceci has been playing OK for awhile. Gee he might not be even the worse Leafs Man. There is no proof that Liljegren (or Sandin) can be thrown into top six minutes right now.
